Smoke exhaust method
When the gas is burned and heated, a certain amount of exhaust gas will be emitted, also called smoke exhaust. The current mainstream smoke exhaust methods of gas water heaters are: forced exhaust type, balanced type and condensing type.
1. forced exhaust type
The forced exhaust gas water heater absorbs oxygen from the room, and the exhaust gas is forced to be discharged to the outside through the exhaust fan.
Because it absorbs oxygen from indoors, it cannot be installed in the bathroom, because the bathroom is in a sealed state when bathing, and oxygen is missing, which is prone to danger.
2. Balanced type
The balanced gas water heater absorbs oxygen from the outside, and the exhaust gas is forced to the outside through the exhaust fan.
Because it absorbs oxygen from the outside, it can be installed in the kitchen or bathroom.
3. Condensing type
The condensing type is to add a first-stage condensing heat exchanger on the basis of the strong exhaust type, which absorbs the heat released by the condensation of the high-temperature gas and is used for the preheating of the initial inlet water to improve the energy efficiency.
At present, only the condensing type can achieve the first-level energy efficiency on the market, which is more energy-saving, but the purchase cost is also relatively expensive. Therefore, the overall cost performance is not high.
At present, the mainstream in the foreign market is the balanced type. It is recommended to choose the balanced type first. If it must be installed in the bathroom, then choose the balanced type.
Air source
Before purchasing a gas water heater, it is very important to first confirm whether the type of gas used at home is natural gas or liquefied gas! Very important! Very important! ! ! Be sure to look carefully when purchasing, or consult the seller to avoid the situation that it cannot be used after the wrong purchase. Gas water heaters are generally marked with letters, R for artificial gas, Y for liquefied gas, and T for natural gas.
Note: It is very dangerous to mix different gas sources, do not modify it without permission!
Determine the number of liters
The number of liters of the gas water heater refers to the ability to produce hot water, that is, the water output per minute when the water temperature is increased by 25°C relative to the inlet water temperature after the water is heated by the water heater. Taking a 13L water heater as an example, under the pressure of rated conditions, when the temperature rise (temperature rise = outlet water temperature - inlet water temperature) is 25°C, 13L of hot water can be produced per minute.
Generally, the hot water liters of common gas water heaters for decoration are mainly 10L, 11L, 12L, 13L, 14L, 16L, 20L, 24L, of which 20L and 24L are suitable for large areas and villas. Users of one kitchen and one bathroom can use 10L, and users of one kitchen and two bathrooms generally use 13L-16L.
Temperature control method
The temperature control method is a very important purchase indicator for gas water heaters, which is directly related to the stability of the water temperature during the bathing process. If the temperature control method is not good, the hot water will be hot and cold during the bathing process. At present, there are four main temperature control methods on the market, namely: gas proportional valve, water and gas dual adjustment and water volume server, zero cold water
1. Gas proportional valve
The principle is relatively simple, that is, by monitoring the water temperature, to adjust the size of the gas proportional valve, thereby controlling the size of the gas, to adjust the combustion power to achieve a constant temperature.
The disadvantage is that it is greatly affected by the water pressure and the amount of water blown in multiple places, the water temperature fluctuates greatly, and the body feeling is more obvious. Generally, the temperature difference is about 1 °C.
2. Water and air dual adjustment
The gas volume is adjusted by the gas proportional valve and the water volume is adjusted by the memory alloy to achieve the purpose of constant temperature, which is improved compared with the gas proportional valve.
However, the dual adjustment of water and air may still be affected by factors such as water use and water pressure in many places, and this is only passive regulation, and cannot be adjusted in time according to changes in water temperature.
3. Water volume server
The water volume server can actively adjust the water volume of the incoming and outgoing water according to the instructions of the circuit board chip, so that it will not be affected by the water pressure and seasonal water temperature changes. It is the best solution at present. Generally, the water temperature fluctuation is controlled at 0.1℃ .
zero cold water
Zero Cold water is heated according to the water circulation to achieve instant use, including a water circulation pipe. It's hot right away, no need to wait for it to heat up. Because this water heater is equipped with a separate return pipe, the separate return pipe can take care of zero cold water and water volume at the same time. The use of closed combustion technology greatly reduces safety hazards. With the changing seasons, the firepower can be automatically changed without adjustment.
