1. When purchasing a water heater, you should check whether the water heater matches the gas source used. Read the instruction manual carefully, clean the water heater regularly and replace the hose (once a year) to ensure the normal use of the water heater.

2. Gas water heaters are strictly prohibited to be installed in closed bathrooms, basements and other rooms. It shall not be installed in places with flammable substances such as gasoline, kerosene, volatile agents, adhesives, etc., and the installation location must be free of any obstructions.

3. The gas water heater must be equipped with a flue, and the flue can extend outdoors. If the flue is not installed, the exhaust gas will easily stay indoors, which will easily cause suffocation or poisoning of indoor personnel.

4. When using a force type water heater, the flue of the water heater cannot be connected to the public flue.

5. It is strictly forbidden to use flue type water heaters.

6. When using a gas water heater, open the windows, keep ventilation, and do not take a bath for too long.

7. According to the relevant state regulations, the period of invalidation of artificial gas water heaters is 6 years, and the period of judgment of natural gas water heaters is 8 years, which should be replaced in time after expiration.

8. The water heater can only be installed in a closed kitchen (a single room with a door), and cannot be installed in an open kitchen, bathroom, dining room, etc.

9. Before installation, it is necessary to make the exhaust hole in advance, and the installation position of the gas water heater should be less than 3 meters away from the exhaust hole, the direction of the smoke pipe should not be changed more than 3 times, and the smoke exhaust pipe should extend 15CM beyond the dripping level of the building.

10. The horizontal distance between the gas water heater and the gas meter must be kept above 30CM; the horizontal distance between the water heater and the electric socket must be kept above 15CM, and the installation of the electric socket should be higher than the water heater inlet and outlet.
