What Is The Difference Between An Open Wall-Hung Boiler And A Closed Wall-Hung Boiler?

As everyone in the wall-hung boiler industry knows, gas wall-hung boilers are structurally separate and closed. On the heating waterway, the water pump, the burner and heat exchanger, the three-way valve and the radiator are connected together through pipes to form a circulating waterway. If the circulating waterway is connected to the external atmospheric environment, it is called an open waterway; if the circulating waterway itself is a system without contact with the atmospheric environment, it is called a closed waterway.

So, what is the difference between open and closed wall-hung boilers? Vangood tells you that there are five major differences between open and closed wall-hung boilers:

First. The installation location is different. The open wall-mounted heating boiler can only be installed at the high point of the heating system, otherwise it will overflow due to the principle of the fan, causing the wall-mounted heating boiler to fail to perform the heating function; the closed heating system is not affected by the outside world, and can be installed flexibly;

Second, the thermal efficiency is different. Because the heating system of the open wall-mounted boiler has outside leaking and light contact parts, heat loss will occur, resulting in low thermal efficiency. Closed, there is no such disadvantage, so the thermal efficiency of the closed wall-hung boiler will be higher;
